What We Do?
WE GIVE THEM PERIOD PROTECTION
At Pennies 4 Pads, we address the issue of lack of access to feminine hygiene products among schoolgirls in rural India. We provide them with products needed to protect their periods and make ‘those’ days comfortable so that they can stay in school and build a better future.
We distribute FREE sanitary pads in schools, funded by donations collected through this website. We have created a channelized distribution network of good quality sanitary pads, delivered to their classroom.
50000 girls in rural India are ‘Period Protected’ every Year by Pennies 4 Pads, including 10000 blind, deaf and autistic girls. They receive free sanitary pads inside their classroom each month, every month!
Pennies 4 Pads also educates girls in best menstrual practices through frequent training sessions.
A correlation between availability of sanitary pads and better school attendance has clearly been established.
Our Vision is to distribute 15,00,000 Pads every year, bringing comfort and dignity to 1,50,000 girls by 2028.
